  क्यान्सर रोग भन्ने शब्द सुन्ने बित्तिकै हामीलाई निकै डर लाग्छ । नाम सुन्नेबित्तिकै डर लाग्ने यो रोग स्वयंलाइ भयो भने कसरी सम्हालिने भन्ने सायदैले सोच्छन् होला । आजको दिनसम्म आइपुग्दा बिज्ञानको बिकाससङै क्यान्सरको  उपचार पद्धति पनि निकै अगाडि बढी सकेको छ । आजभन्दा बीस बर्ष  अगाडिको चिकित्सा बिज्ञान लाइ आज उभिएर हेर्दा हामीले गौरवयोग्य उपलब्धि हासिल गरिसकेका छौँ । हामी हरेक बर्ष फेब्रुअरी ४ मा विभिन्न नारा सहित बिश्व क्यान्सर दिवस मनाउने गर्छौ तर क्यान्सर रोगको निदान घट्नुको सट्टा दिन दिनै बढी रहेको छ । क्यान्सर नाम सर्बप्रथम हिपोक्रेट्स “मेडिसिनका पिता“ ले प्रयोग गरेका हुन । उनको अनुसार क्यान्सरको भित्री भाग “अक्टुपस” अर्थात गँगटो जस्तै देखिन्छ भन्ने हिसाबले  कार्सिनोमा नामाकरण गरेका थिए । क्यानसरको पहिलो ऐतिहासिक  प्रमाण पाच हजार बर्ष पहिले ईजिप्टमा भेटिएको थियो भने पहिलो बैज्ञानिक प्रमाण सहितको क्यान्सर सत्ताईस सय बर्ष  पहिले ४० देखि ५० बर्षका साईबेरियन राजामा भेटिएको थियो । बिश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठनका अनुसार सबै भन्दा बढी ज्यान लिने रोग मध्य क्यान्सर दोश्रो...
